This second national conference on black mental health in Canada will be an opportunity to talk about the progress made across the country and to share the knowledge acquired. It will also be an opportunity to discuss the many barriers that continue to prevent black people from benefiting from care adapted to their needs, as well as the social determinants that continue to hinder the mental health of black people and communities in Canada.

Ottawa has no plans to broadly give residential status to undocumented migrants working in Canada, Immigration Minister Marc Miller says.
