CoPs are a social learning system with the primary purpose of developing the capabilities of their voluntary members while facilitating knowledge generation for a common goal. CoPs are critical because they serve as a continuous learning venue for professionals from various disciplines to develop, capture and transfer best practices on specific topics by stimulating the active sharing of knowledge and promoting innovative approaches to address particular challenges.

This guide outlines the N4 CoP as a vehicle to support newcomer-serving professionals in knowledge mobilization and collaboration across organizational, intersectoral, multidisciplinary and geographical boundaries.

The N4 CoP guide is meant to evolve as our learnings advance, and we enhance our cross-sectoral practices and opportunities for collaboration.
