Fostering Canadian Integration for Internationally Educated Health Care Professionals (IEHPs) : From Learning to Action

This 12-week program is designed to accompany and support IEHPs with the challenges of finding their place in Canada. It is based on an integrated development model that focuses on knowledge, skills and identity-making. The program's content will allow you to develop non-clinical skills and knowledge to support your successful integration in Canada while forming a learning community through exercises of personal development and reflective practice (circle of support, reflective learning journals, discussion forums). It is training that welcomes you and helps you leverage your expertise in a new cultural context.
The program will be composed of six 2-week modules combining a mix of online synchronous learning (video conference office hour and live webinar) and online asynchronous learning (pre-recorded videos, articles, online resources, discussion forums, reflection questions and recommended practices).
