CoP - Community of Practice

The N4 CoP Model

Our model builds upon the Ottawa Hospital's successful framework to bring subject matter experts to time-limited tables to produce evidence-based, outcome-driven, and impact-focused products. N4's CoP addresses the root causes of pan-Canadian inequities for newcomers in accessing and experiencing health and social services. N4's team provides the infrastructure to the CoP work, including research, project management, administrative, communication and knowledge mobilization. The Practice (CoP) structure includes time-limited working groups which optimizes the time of subject matter experts and those with lived experience, bring their side of desk projects to a pan-Canadian level and intersectoral audience.

 N4 CoP Products

The Community of Practice (CoP) structure includes time-limited working groups that produce evidence-based, outcome-driven, and impact-focused deliverables to address the root causes of inequities for newcomers in accessing health, social, and settlement services.

Have you observed root causes of inequities for newcomer health and well-being or products that will make a difference to their access or experience of services?  If so, then please share your ideas and any related resources with us.
